Funding to promote greater understanding between the armed forces and communities

We’ve signed up to the Armed Forces Community Covenant and pledge our support to service personnel and their families living in our county.

The aim of the Community Covenant Grant Scheme is to provide funding to help communities carry out projects that promote greater understanding between the armed forces and general public.

Funding is now available for local projects that reflect the aims of the covenant.  Applications can be submitted from voluntary groups, public bodies, community projects and charities.  Funding is available for one off sums between £100 and £250,000.
