Please help brighten a homeless young person’s Christmas with a present

Could you afford to buy a Christmas present for a homeless young person in Monmouthshire?

Our Learning Pathways team provide students in Monmouthshire with education and support that prepares them to participate fully in today and tomorrow’s society.

As part of their work they visit young people who are currently homeless and living in the two hostels in Monmouthshire. As you can imagine this is not a great time of year for many of them as they are estranged from home and parents and struggling to manage their money.

Last year Charlotte and Colin from the Learning Pathways team delivered donated presents to the hostels and these were given to the young people on Christmas day. They’d like to do the same this year and we would be really grateful if you have any spare Christmas gifts that you would like to donate to this worthy cause.

The young people are aged 16-25 and a mixture of male and female. Charlotte and Colin will deliver presents on the week starting 19th December.

If you you’d like to donate please wrap the present up and label it (M) or (F) as that would be really helpful. You can deliver it to reception of the new council building in Magor (address below) or post to:
